Supply List

For English I Pre-AP:

* Hard cover three ring binder with pockets (1 1/2 inch or wider)
* Five dividers to separate each section of the notebook
* One subject spiral notebook (this will be used for warm ups)
* Two ball point pens—blue or black ink
* Pencils
* One highlighter
* Loose leaf notebook paper
* If at all possible, please purchase copies of the following literary
works. It is important to own your own copy because we will be
working on annotations and you will be writing inside of your books.
These can be purchased from Books-a-Million or Barnes and Noble and
are located in the school reading list section of the store: To Kill
a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (purple cover by Warner Books for $6.99).
 Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare (white book with a gold band across
the top by Signet Books for $4.95). The Odyssey by Homer (at
Books-a-Million the Oxford World’s Classic for $9.95 or The Barnes and
Noble Classics edition, blue cover, at Barnes and Noble for $5.95).
If you find that purchasing your own books is not a possibility for
you this term you may borrow a copy from the teacher and take notes
referenced to page and paragraph numbers in the book.
* If possible a Flash Drive—the cheapest version should suffice. You
should be able to pick one up for about ten dollars. We will be doing
a number of technology projects and this is a handy way to store
documents and presentations in one portable place.

For English III:

*Hard cover three ring binder with pockets (1 ˝ inch or wider)
*Five dividers to separate each section of the notebook
*One subject spiral notebook (this will be used for warm ups)
*Two ball point pens—blue or black ink
*Pencils
*One highlighter
*Loose leaf notebook paper
*Strongly recommended--a flash drive for data storage. This will be
extremely useful for your big research project this semester.
