Absences

When your child is absent, please send a note containing your 
child's full name, the date(s) of the absence(s), a valid reason, 
and your signature.

Birthdays

You may send in treats that are easily distributed (i.e. 
cupcakes, cookies, muffins, etc) and purchased from a store (not 
made at home).  If napkins, cups or utensils are needed, please 
supply these as well.  Plan on 22 children at this time.

Homework

Assigned Monday-Thursday and will be written in the agenda book.

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer in the classroom or for field 
trips, you must register with PALs at the front office.  This 
process takes 4-6 weeks, so please plan to register early in the 
year!!  You must re-register every year!!

Lunch money

Send lunch money to the before school lunch window in a sealed 
envelope labeled with your child's name, pin number and the 
amount.

Medications

All medications must be taken to the clinic.  No medications may 
be kept in your child's backpack.  This includes cough drops and 
inhalers!!

Clothing

Please dress appropriately for the weather. No hats, flip flops, 
shirts with spaghetti straps or shirts that show the stomach.  
Students must wear tennis shoes as we have either PE, fitness or 
recess each day.

Students may bring in a daily snack.

Tests

Most of our testing is done on Thursday of each week.  This is an 
important day so it would be helpful for your child to be in 
class on that day.

AR

4th graders are required to have 18 points per grading period.

Weekly Report

Sent home every Friday.  This will provide you with your child's 
grades, behavior and work/study habits.  Please review and sign 
it to be returned to me on Monday.
