DISNEY WORLD.
In the past, Lakeview's CHORUS, RECORDER AND VIOLIN ENSEMBLES have performed at The Magic Kingdom during Magic Music Days during even years. We have traveled by bus to Orlando and spent the day enjoying the festivities.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make this happen in the past, and congratulations to everyone who participated! The children were terrific little performers, the chaperons were awesome, and the bus drivers were very careful and patient. A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!
2010 is an even year! We will audition to do this in the winter with hopes of being able to go on a Saturday in May, probably either the 15th or the 22nd. Please block out these dates on your calendar if you want to go with us. Parents and other family members are welcome, although they will need their own transportation.
We'll have to raise money for the buses (for the performers). So I'll be looking for some energetic parents form a planning committee. Let me know if you can meet with me a few times to help with a fundraiser or two. THANKS SO MUCH!
