Dear parents and students,
This week, in Reading will be discussing short /u/, making new
words, reviewing /th/, identifying new high frequency words, nouns and
details. In Math will be starting Chapter 9: Graphs and Tables, using
vocabulary including graph, tally marks and sorting. In Social Studies will
be discussing Veterans day, Patriotism, government and citizens. In
handwriting we will be continuing Expository writing using first, next and
last, making simple sentences and using the word “because” to create details.
