Dear Parents,

Welcome back to another wonderful and fun-filled educational school year.  I hope you had a restful summer and you are ready for an new and exciting year at Lamarque Elementary.   I am so pleased to have your child in my class and I’m very enthusiastic about working with you and your child.  We have an exciting and challenging year planned.  I encourage you to be involved in your child’s classroom activities and keep track of his or her progress.  I know that through your commitment and assistance this will be a rewarding and successful year for your child.       

As part of motivational activities, on occasion, I will provide the children with treats for example cookies, candy, etc. If your child has any allergies please let me know immediately. In addition, Please notify me of any special medical problems or family situations that you feel is imperative to the education of your child. Please assure that your child knows his/her way of getting home.  I encourage you to be involved in your child’s classroom activities. Weekly spelling and vocabulary words, as well as upcoming activities will be posted weekly on our class website. There are some school supplies that your child needs.  The supply list has been revised and is included in this website.
