1st and 2nd Grade Literacy Class
This website is currently being updated in hopes of making it
more user-friendly and organized for teachers, parents, and students. Check
back often for updates and email me if you have a question. I enjoy receiving
emails from teachers and although I am a busy teacher, coach, and mom, I will
try my best to respond back to every email that I receive. Thank you!
Welcome to Mrs. Vensko's first and second
grade departmentalized literacy classroom at Laurel Hill School in Okaloosa
County, Florida. We are so excited that you stopped by "our neck of the woods"
on the internet! Laurel Hill School is truly a great place to learn! Here is
some interesting information about our dynamic school!
We are the most rural school in Okaloosa
County. We are located less than 10 minutes from the Alabama state line, and
about an hour from the beautiful Emerald Coast's sugar white sand beaches of
Northwest Florida!
Laurel Hill is a Prek through 12th grade
combination school with less than 450 students total! At Laurel Hill School,
we believe, "Excellence in small things! Excellence in all things!"
Our school colors are Columbia Blue,
Gold, and White.
Our beloved "hobo" school mascot has been
recognized as one of the nation's most unique! You can read more about our

I am so excited to announce that my
