Welcome to Mrs. Schenke's Math and Science class!
Talk to your child daily about their school assignments, encourage your child
to view learning as an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
Math: Students need to know their basic facts (addition, subtraction,
multiplication and division).
Third graders who received 90 or above on the addition/subtraction time test
will be invited to a special "Sundae Party".
Fourth and fifth graders who received 90 or above on the
addition/subtraction, multiplication and division time test will be invited
to a special "Sundae Party".
Our Sundae Party will be Wednesday, November 11th.

Third Grade: 100 mixed addition and subraction facts. The third grade has
received the multiplication practice facts worksheet. They should be
practicing these at home.
Fourth and Fifth Grade: 100 mixed addition and subtraction facts, 100
multiplication, 100 division facts.
Practice tests have been sent home already. Parents may duplicate the
pratice tests. Does your child know his/her facts? Practice in the evenings
with flashcards or ask Mrs. Schenke for additional ideas.
We are using our textbook websites in the classroom. Try them at home too!

Great job on the Science Fair Projects!
13 out of the 20 elementary science fair project winners that were selected
to move on to the County Science Fair were from the Junior Odyssey Team! WOW!!
