Book Report 3rd Quarter – Pictionary Dictionary!
SUPPLIES: ONE AR NON-FICTION BOOK!!
copy paper – 3 sheets (I will supply) – for the inside pages
card stock – 1 sheet (I will supply) – for the cover
markers, colored pencils, colored pens, crayons
glitter, sparkles, stickers, ribbons, confetti
DIRECTIONS:
You are creating a Pictionary/Dictionary for one of your non-fiction
books! Your Pictionary/Dictionary will list 10 vocabulary words with which
you are NOT familiar. Number the words from one to ten, keeping them in
chronological order - from the beginning of the booklet to the end – one per
page.
*THE COVER – Write the book’s title and the author on the front. Your name
goes in the lower right-hand corner. Decorate the front.
*INSIDE FRONT COVER – Write a brief dedication to someone.
*THE BOOKLET – each word is worth 9pts. (parts 1-4)
1.Neatly copy the word and page number where you found it. Number the words
as you go, one word per page. (You may use the front and the back.)
2.Copy the sentence where you found the word and highlight the word.
3.Define the word using a dictionary.
4.Illustrate the word with a drawing. (the Pictionary part!)
5.Spelling counts! 10pts.

7.EXTRA CREDIT:
•Turning in this sheet 5 points
•Handing it in early 10 points
•Creativity, neatness, use of color 20 points possible
