This year will begin my fourteenth year teaching fourth grade, my eighth
year at Laurel Nokomis. I love teaching fourth grade, it is a grade filled
with excitement and challenges but it is also very rewarding. I have enjoyed
my time off this summer, I've been watching the sunset at the beach, taking
classes,spending time with my family,I took a trip "back home" to
Massachusetts, and I have been reading, reading, reading. My husband and I
are the proud parents of four beautiful daughters. I have a dog named Elmo,
he is a mixed terrier and very energetic and loving. I am excited about
sharing my love for learning with my newest fourth grade class.
Mission For The Class: My mission for our classroom this year is for all
students to experience academic success in a positive, and nurturing
environment. My hope is that every child will grow socially, emotionally,
and intellectually as we learn from one another. We will experience 4th
grade through various learning styles, and teaching methods as a Cooperative
Learning classroom. We will work toward our full potential.
