About The Teacher
This year will begin my Sixteenth year teaching, my tenth year at Laurel Nokomis, and my second year in 5th grade (14 in 4th). I love teaching, and I am excited about my beginning another year at LNS. I have enjoyed my time off this summer, I've been watching the sunset at the beach, traveling to visit family and friends, spending time with my family, and I have been reading, reading, reading. My husband and I are the proud parents of four beautiful daughters. I have a dog named Elmo, he is a mixed terrier and very energetic and loving. I am excited about sharing my love for learning with my newest class.

Mission
Mission For The Class: My mission for our classroom this year is for all students to experience academic success in a positive, and nurturing environment. My hope is that every child will grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually as we learn from one another. We will experience 4th grade through various learning styles, and teaching methods as a Cooperative Learning classroom. We will work toward our full potential.
