About The Teacher Label:
About The Teacher
B.A. degree from St. Leo College M.S. degree from Long Island University in N.Y. Additional graduate level course work in education at The University of South Florida Florida teacher certification in the areas of: 1) Guidance and Counseling Pre K-12 2) Elementary Education K-6 3) Exceptional Student Education K-12 I have been a counselor at Most Holy Redeemer School for 14 years. Prior to my employment at MHR, I worked as a counselor in a hospital setting and also taught at Pasco Community College for several years. I have also taught K- 3rd grade in the public school system in Connecticut in addition to teaching 4th grade for one year at MHR. I became a counselor at MHR when my son Jay was in kindergarten; he is now a senior at the University of Central Florida. My other son James is in the 7th grade at MHR. I love working at Most Holy Redeemer School! This school provides so many opportunities for children and is filled with such devotion from faculty and staff. I meet frequently with other counselors from local high schools and their comments to me about MHR have been "you can always tell a Most Holy Redeemer student, they are so prepared." I am proud to be part of the MHR family. Do you like my Harley coffee mug? Yes, I do own a Harley. He has 4 legs, loves to jump, enjoys eating carrots, and is a very good friend of mine. I also own a Teddy Bear! Teddy is a miniature version of Harley. Can you guess what Harley and Teddy are?
