Thank you for sending the library books back to school by Thursday. We are still the only class
to "never miss a week", hip hip hooray! Is your child's library book at school? Mrs. Anderson
will come to our class for library tomorrow due to ITBS testing. The students will have a small
selection to choose from this week, please ask them to bare with us.

percentage represented will receive a school pizza party!

We are reading the story, Caps for Sale. We would like you to send in a "cap" for your child to
wear on Wednesday. Please note the cap should be a "baseball type" not a hat.
Did you order your Spirit T-shirt yet? If not, there is still time.

We will be painting with watercolors tomorrow. Please send an old t-shirt to put over your
child's uniform while painting. We recommend a size larger than what your child wears.
Please let us know in the planner if you are or are not receiving e-mails. We understand that
some people are having problems.

We read the story Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom last week and would love to serve coconut products
such as a real coconut, coconut flakes, and coconut cookies. Please write us a reply in the
planner letting us know if your child is or is not allergic to any of the above products. We
will
have these products on Wednesday.
There were two Social Studies papers sent home today, please review. Sign and return papers by
Wednesday.
Reminder: Open House is this Thursday, September 11 @ 7pm. Open house starts at the Parish
Center located at MHR church, please parents only.
The MHR Hoedown is this Saturday in the MHR Parish Center, this event is for adults 21 years and
older.
Yeah! Our class received the library banner today during Flag Ceremony. Thank you for sending
the library books back on time. Let's win the banner two weeks in a row. Is your child's library
book in the cubby?
Reminder: $15 for headsets, make checks payable to: "Cash" if possible :)
Hurray! We found headsets for your child to use during computer center
time. The headset will be labeled with your child's name for his/her
personal use. Mrs. Batteese will be glad to order them for us. Please send
$15 in a marked envelope ASAP. Thank You
