On Monday, February 8th we will begin our Unit on Finance Park. This is a
personal economics course which teaches about budgeting, saving, the proper
use of credit and other valuable financial life skills. The Unit concludes
with a trip to Finance Park where the students will receive a "life card" and
have to budget and spend based upon the life situation in which they find
themselves.
It is a excellent program and the kids really seem to enjoy it. The Field
Trip is schedule for March 11 and permission slips will be going home soon.
