| Keyboarding guidelines:
3rd grade - 100 words min.
4th grade - 125 words min.
5th grade - 150 words min.
6th grade - 200 words min.
7th grade - 250 words min.
8th grade - 300 words min.
* MHR heading.
* Center the title.
* Leave one space at end of sentence or after comma.
* Press enter only at end of paragraph.
* Use Tab to indent paragraph.
* No ALL CAPS.
* Font size 10, 12, 14 only.
* Paragraph format, 2 paragraphs for 3rd - 5th, 3 paragraphs for 6th - 8th.
* Use spell check, proofread, and print preview before printing.
* Use left alignment, not centered or full.
* Type total number of words at bottom of page. (Word count is usually found
under tools.)
* No late assignments will be accepted unless absent in which case you
turn it in on the day you return to school.
* Keyboarding assignments can always be turned in early!
