A.R. requirement******A total of 9 points is required for Quarter ll.  THE LAST DATE TO TAKE AN AR TEST FOR THIS QUARTER IS JANUARY 4, 2010.

Social Studies poster project is due on Thursday, December 17th.  Students who bring project into class before the 17th will receive 5 extra points.  This project will count as a project/quiz grade for Social Studies. A Rubric was given to each student.

Parents, I know these are hectic days.  We'll make it!  Good news!!! I will not schedule any written homework for this coming week.  The children can have time to study for their tests, work on projects and catch a few Christmas shows.

***Parents, I am in the process of securing a date in March for our field trip to Cracker Country.  As soon as I have a confirmed date I will post it.

Parents, I will continue the "Strengthen Your Reading Skills" tutoring session for each Monday afternoon at 3:15pm.  Each tutoring session should last approximately 30 minutes. 
On the  14th we will work on the skill "Getting the Facts."  If you feel it would benefit your child to attend, please encourage them to do so.
