The Accelerated Math program is a tool used to reinforce concepts/skills being taught in math or as an enrichment for students who are ready to move ahead. Each student moves at his/her own pace.
AM is scheduled 4 to 5 days a week during each math period for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Each quarter the mimimun requirement will change for each grade level depending on various factors.
Quarter 2 Accelerated Math minimum requirement: Due date Tuesday, January 5.
6th Grade Math - 4 practices and 2 tests
7th Grade Math - 4 practices and 2 tests
Pre-Algebra - 6 practices and 3 tests
Algebra 1 - 6 practices and 3 tests
Consequence for Not Completing minimumRequirements:
Student receives an IA on the report card if the quarter's AM goal is not achieved.
Bonus: If goal is achieved, student will receive a homework pass.
