Thank you all for the wonderful and generous gift cards, cards made by my students, and other surprises that you gave to me last week for Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you for sharing your children with me this year - that's the best gift that a teacher can receive. I appreciate your trust, understanding, and support this year, and I wish you and your children continued success and happiness next year. I hope to see you all again if I come back to sub in the 2012 -2013 school year. If not, it's been nice to work with such wonderful parents, but more than that with your super sweet children. May God bless you always!
Love,
Mrs. M. Stracke
The QIV due dates for A Math are:
1. April 3,2012
2. May 3, 2012
3. May 23, 2012 (recently extended)
The required assignments are; 2 Practices and 1 Test passed by May 23, 2012. The due dates are also posted in the classroom. The students should work on A Math in their homerooms in the morning before 8:00 and at the specified times during the week and at home any night. See the Accelerated Math page on this website for clarification. This is the minimum expected for QIV; please encourage your child to continue through as many skills as possible. It's great preparation for next year. Please check TeacherEase for the latest posting of grades from the weekePlease nd; however if you would like to know your child's grades as soon as possible, make a conference and I'll let you know the grades which are in my gradebook waiting to be posted. I get to the computer for grades usually on weekends, as I am teaching all day everyday at school and put the children's needs first (they are my first priority).I check emails in the morning and may not have time to check them again all day, especially if I have a meeting, conference, or schoolwork to do on my break if I get one. I do not check school emails at home on weekends. Send a note with your child, and I'll write back that day.
