END OF YEAR CONCLUSION FOR 5TH GRADE SCIENCE

Dear Parents,

You have a beautiful and bright group of children.  They scored in the 75th percentile on their IOWA Tests.
This puts them in the top 1/3 of the nation for Science.  Science was the subject they scored the highest on in all their tests.  Congratulations! Congratulations!  They are smart and so much fun to teach.

They took their last chapter test yesterday.  They will be in Tuesday's envelope.
They FINISHED THE BOOK except for one very short section on the environment.  That is amazing!

We are working on some fun science projects in finishing out the year.  They are sewing creatures out of socks at the moment. Each student will turn their sock into their chosen animal and do research which they will present in the form of a poster.

Posters will include:  Habitat, Physical Features, Diet, Characteristics, What Eats Them?
