Mr. Drum Grade 5

Dear Parents,

On Friday, June 1st, after an early lunch, we will be traveling to Fort Zachary Taylor. This trip has been arranged by Ms. Kilroe and I wish to thank her on behalf of the Fifth Grade.   Please remember that there are no hot lunches, but pizza will be served.  If your child does not buy some pizza, please have him or her bring a lunch. 

After the fort tour, we will be dropped off at Key West Toy Factory for a tour and an activity.  From there we will walk back to the school in time for dismissal.  The cost for the  trolley is six dollars.  I would suggest you send a few extra dollars so that students may buy water or a snack for the walk back.  Also, I think a hat to protect us from the sun might be a good addition .

Enclosed in this week's envelope you will find the permission slip for this field trip.  Please sign it and send it back to me as soon as possible.
