Hi! I am Kristin Hughes. This is my 5th year of teaching, my second year at McDonald Elementary. Before teaching at McDonald I taught for 3 years in Las Vegas, NV at Gragson Elementary.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University located in Slippery Rock, PA. Originally from Pennsylvania, SRU gave me the opportunity to student teach in Las Vegas and I was hooked!

I grew up near Pittsburgh, PA where my family still lives. My brother is a high school teacher, so I guess it runs in the family!

In my spare time I love to read and spend time with friends!
