The Battle of the Books is a program for all 4th grade students. All students are challenged to read as many Battle Books as possible. Students then take an AR test on the book. At McDonald Elementary we have a montly contest among 4th grade classes to see which class has read the most books. At the end of the Battle each class will have a team to represent them in a school battle of book knowledge. The winning team will compete against other district schools.
Last Year Mrs. Hughes class won the school battle and was able to compete at the Tampa Bay Convention Center along with other Area 7 Schools!
