Welcome to our class! My name is Gladys Pineda. I have been teaching for
over thirteen years and I have been blessed to be teaching at Miami Lakes K-8
Center for the past ten years. I hold a Bachelors degree in Elementary
Education and a Masters degree in Reading K-12. I am presently working on my
Educational Specialist degree specializing in Educational Leadership. In
addition, I am E.S.O.L and Gifted endorsed. I'm looking forward to
working side by side with the children and parents in achieving an enjoyable
and successful school year!

My philosphy of education focuses on providing for the "whole" child. My
definition of education is to produce responsible citizens who become
lifelong learners. As a teacher, I am dedicated to providing my students
with the most productive environment possible. I will encourage each student
to develop to his or her full potential and support his or her every step
along the way in a structured, nurturing, and motivational environment.
