Welcome to Mrs. Romeu's 6th Grade Reading Class!!
Sixth grade is an exciting time as your child will embark upon new
adventures in the world of learning.
I hope to instill a love of Reading that will last a lifetime!
So much occurs in sixth grade! Because of this, parents as well as
children may have some apprehensions about what will happen. It is important
to keep in mind that we build on each success. Maintaining each child's
self esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always
remain a priority in our sixth grade class.
All students are expected to be in class every day, and on time for each
period. Students are expected to have all necessary supplies and assignments
for each class period. This is critical, as no late work will be accepted
without a valid excused absence note. Students are expected to treat all
teachers, school employees, fellow students, and themselves with respect.
As your child's teacher I would like to encourage you to be a part of your
child's education at school as well as at home. Please talk to your child
each day and stay involved in their education.
Encourage your child to try their best and celebrate their achievements.
Most of all, be a part of their education each and every day.
Please do not hesitate to call or EMAIL me with any questions or concerns.
