Dear Parents,

 

          Welcome back to another wonderful school year.  I hope you had a restful summer and you are ready for an exciting year at Miami Lakes K-8 Center.

 

          I am so pleased to have your child in my class and I’m very enthusiastic about working with you and your child.  We have an exciting and challenging year planned.  I encourage you to be involved in your child’s classroom activities and keep track of his or her progress.

 

          There are some school supplies that your child needs.  The supply list has been revised and is included in this pack, as well as other forms that need to be filled out and returned as soon as possible.  I would like for all supplies to be brought in no later than Friday, August 28th.  Please notify me of any special medical problems or family situations immediately.  Please give your child specific directions for dismissal and rainy days to avoid confusion.
