Welcome to First Grade!
<br /><span style="color: rgb(0, 128, 128); font-family: Comic Sans MS; font-size: 14pt;">Dear Parents/Guardians,<br /><br /> Welcome to the first grade! I hope you and your family had an enjoyable summer vacation. Our school year has begun and I have many new and exciting activities planned for your child this year. I want your child to have a successful year; therefore, several helpful reminders and schedules are listed below.<br /><br /> 1. Students should bring a water bottle to school daily.<br /><br /> 2. P.E. classes will be on Monday, Thursday and Friday.<br /><br /> 3. First graders attend Mass on Tuesdays at 8:20.<br /><br /> 4. Music classes will be on Tuesday and Wednesday. <br /> Library Day is Friday. <br /> Computer classes are on Tuesday and Wednesday.<br /> Spanish class is on Monday.<br /><br /> 5. Each student's papers will be sent home weekly. <br /> Please review these papers with your child, sign them<br /> and return them within two school days.<br /><br /> 6. Remember to label all of your child's items, including <br /> clothes, supplies, books and water bottles.<br /><br /> 7. Please check this website often to see important <br /> announcements, the snack calendar, and weekly spelling<br /> lists to begin in September.<br /><br /> Thank you very much for your cooperation. I look forward to meeting you soon.
