Assignment Requirements

The following guidelines are your assignment requirements:

All assignments are due on the date specified. Any assignment that is turned
in late will receive a deduction of one letter grade for each day that it is
late. This applies to all assignments except in-class assignments and
homework. In class assignments are due at the end of the class period.
Homework will not be accepted without penalty if it is turned in late.
Generally, the penalty will be an automatic detention (for failure to
complete) AND a 10% grade reduction for each class tardy bell it is turned in
after the tardy bell of the assigned due date.

All work must be original. Absolutely no credit is awarded for work that is
plagiarized. See AP and/or plagiarism contract. No credit will be awarded
for what may be construed as cheating on any assignment (homework, class work,
tests, etc.).

Submission of Assignments
All assignments are to be typed or written in blue/black ink or pencil. No
other colors and/or form of pens will be accepted (i.e. gel pens in
fluorescent colors etc.)

Your work must contain a heading on the right side of the paper beginning on
the first line of the top margin which shall include the following
information:

                                        Full Name (First and Last)
                                        Date
                                        Assignment Name (Vocabulary, Unit 1)
                                        Class Period

Follow the format above. Your heading is placed in the right hand corner of
your paper beginning on the first line.

You should always turn in your best work; therefore, your assignments should
appear neat and orderly. No excessive white out, sloppy handwriting, torn
notebook paper, etc. Note: ANY assignment which is completed on notebook paper
torn from a spiral or otherwise torn from what is a perforated source will
receive a 10% grade reduction.
