Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe June is here. Thank you for partnering with us to make the 2013-2014 school year a successful one. We appreciate your support and donations of time, talent and treasure. Have a restful summer.

 

REMINDERS:

Attention America’s Battle of the Books Participants: The competition will be held on Thursday, June 5th at 9:00 A.M. in the Social Hall. Parents are welcome to join us.                                                                                           

 

5th Grade Patrol Celebration: Thursday, June 5th from 12-2:30

 

OPERATION: BREAKING THE GIRL CODE Dates:

Session 3 is Thursday June 5th 3:00-3:45 pm

 

Friday, June 6th: Yearbook Signing- Yearbooks will be distributed and we will have the class go around and sign books. Please send in a pen or sharpie for your child to use to sign yearbooks.

 

Monday, June 9th: All School Mass at 8:30am

NOON DISMISSAL (Last Day of School/Extended Day Closed)

 

DONATIONS:
Our final auction is Thursday, June 5th. Please consider cleaning out your closet and junk drawers and making a donation.

Please allow us to borrow your games this week: Monopoly, Checkers, Scrabble and Connect 4--It is the 5th grade Tournament of Champions!


REMINDERS:
Monday, May 26th No School

**We will be taking a 5th grade class picture on Tuesday, so we hope for perfect attendance!

Tuesday, May 27th- 8:00am and 6:00pm Iowa Meeting
Tuesday, May 27th-Spring Concert: All 5th grade students are required to perform. Please arrive to school by 6:45 in your school uniform.

Wednesday, May 28th- 7:00pm Sports Awards Night

Thursday, May 29th- 8th grade Clap Out

 

Attention America’s Battle of the Books Participants: Students participating in the America’s Battle of the Books competition should be completing the reading of their final novels. Participants must turn in their America’s Battle of the Books Log Form by May 30th to their homeroom teacher. Please remember students have been assigned 6 books in 3rd, 8 in 4th, and 10 in 5th. The competition will be held on June 5th at 9:00 A.M. in the Social Hall. Parents are welcome to join us.
