You will become a young pilgrim from a country in Europe. You will be
required to:
1. Read Molly's Pilgrim by Barbara Cohen
2. Research new vocabulary
3. Go on a virtual tour of Ellis Island where new pilgrims first set foot
on
American soil
4. Read letters of recent immigrants to American in order to discover their
thoughts
5. Build a journal of your pretend voyage to America based on a five day
trip
Your journal will be written in a notebook so your classmates can have
access to the computer. The research you did on the web will be used in
your entries.
Make sure you go over the rubric so you will know what is expected. You can
find the rubric on the HTMLpage 1.
