Sensitivity Training  Mrs. Marlene Sotelo-Bromberg ,from Students looked through special glasses and tried
Nova Southeastern CARD, spoke to
us to follow a path. They experienced being
about people with special needs. visually impaired.
  Students wore gloves and had to try to put beads on a piece of string.This activity helped them experience poor fine motor skills.
  Students wore googles filled with vaseline and tried to do some math problems. This helped them experience poor
visual skills.
 Students had to organize cards without any directions.
This helped them experience a learning disability.
  Students had to read or talk with their tongue on the roof of their mouth. This showed them what it is like to have a speech disorder.
