I recommend the TI-83Plus for the graphing calculator. 
I have attended training using the Texas Instrument product, 
so that is what I will use in classroom demonstrations.  I do 
not have knowledge of any other brand of graphing calculator and will not be 
able to teach a student how to use anything other than the TI product.
