-Write analytical essay on either Golding's novel or Coelho's novel.  Submit 
final draft on Fri., 6/1.
-Study for final exam.  If exempting, make sure you have completed the proper 
form.

Week of May 21, 2012
-Read pages 105-167 by Tues., 5/22.
-Study for test on Coelho's novel.  Test will include magical realism notes 
and stories.  Test scheduled for Tues., 5/29.

Week of May 14, 2012
-Read pages 48-104 by Tues., 5/15.  Refer to guided questions to focus your 
reading.
-Rewrite final draft of dream/parable writing. Submit Fri, 5/18.
-Read pages 105-167 by Tues., 5/22.

Week of May 7, 2012 
-Read pages 1-47 of Coelho's novel by Thurs., 5/10. 
-Read pages 48-104 by Tues., 5/15. 
-Review magical realism notes.

Week of April 30, 2012
-Be prepared to present tracking topic on Mon., 4/23.
-Review all notes for test on Golding's novel scheduled for Wed., 4/25.

Week of April 23, 2012
-Read chpts 10-12 by Thurs., 4/26.  Track your topic.  Prepare PP 
presentation for Mon., 4/30.  Revisit directions if necessary.
-Flash cards for vocabulary due Wed., 4/25.  Quiz scheduled for Fri., 4/27.  
The quiz will also include questions regarding the last chpts. of the novel.
