definitions inside. There are 12 total words. You may
hand-write this assignment. Use a black pen and write
                   carefully.

5/8 _________ 8. Draw an outline of a human and show the changes
necessary to make it able to fly. Typing a paragraph,
explain how your daily life would be different if you had
these changes. Think about school, practice, eating,
sleeping, and social parts of your day. How would your
                   life be different?

5/8 _________ 9. Complete the assignment on the following page.

5/8 _________10. Examine the mammals in sections 3 and 4. Design
your own mammal using any characteristics of any mammal.
You must use at least 5 characteristics. Be careful what
you chose. Characteristics that are helpful for one thing
can be harmful for another. For example: Big ears are
very good for hearing, but also help cool you off when
it’s hot. Big ears would not be good for animals living
at the South Pole. For this assignment you will hand in a
drawing (by hand) of the animal including all the
characteristics you choose and a paragraph (typed)
explaining each of the characteristics and its purpose.

These assignments are due May 8.
There will be a vocabulary quiz on April 29 for A-Day students and
