A note from Mr. Reeves:
I am very fortunate to be teaching my favorite fields of science – Physics &
Environmental Science. Why are these areas of such interest to me? Because
they attempt to unearth the true reasons why many of the things we observe
in nature happen, and try to explain how many things around us work. Now to
me, that’s exciting! Just as anyone interested in sports knows that it’s
much more fun to enjoy a sport once you have competed in it and have a
deeper understanding of the rules – I hope to bring a version of this
excitement to their educational process, getting them excited about
studying, appreciating, and understanding the biggest arena they’ll ever be
in – the world around them!
To encourage all students to develop a desire to learn about science, have
fun doing so, and realize that examples of science are everywhere around us
in our world. My hope is that my students will gain a new appreciation for
science, and better understand how science effects all of us in many areas
of our everyday
lives.
