Spelling List

August 2009
    Dear Parents,
    This week we will begin our spelling program.  Each week(Fridays) I will 
send home a list of words to study.  Each night there will be assigned 
activities to help your child practice the spelling words.  The completed 
spelling activity packet is to be returned to class on Thursday.
(Test Day)to be graded.  Neatness Counts!!

                    NO SPELLING WORDS THIS WEEK!!!
                           HAVE A TERRIFIC
                                THANKSGIVING!!!

MONDAY       Write the spelling words 3 times each neatly.
             Begin studying the words.

TUESDAY      Write the words in ABC order.
             Continue to study the words.

WEDNESDAY    Write a sentence for selected words.
             Continue to study the words.

THURSDAY     Have mom or dad give you a practice written test.
             Study the words you do not know.

FRIDAY       TEST DAY
