Dear Parents, Teachers, Students and Staff,

On behalf of the Ridgecrest Elementary PTA, welcome to another wonderful year at the Ridge. I am excited that you have chosen Ridgecrest Elementary as your child's school and I look forward to meeting and assisting you as your children embark on a journey of learning at Ridgecrest.

I am honored to serve as your PTA President and look forward to accomplishing many great things together. In order to accomplish great things, we need to focus on a "mission". The Mission of the PTA is threefold:

1. To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
2. To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise, protect and prepare their children;
3. To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this state.

Just as your children need you, so does your PTA. Will you accept our Mission and become a PTA Member? Working together as advocates for our children will greatly increase our "One Voice" making the "Roar of the Ridge" louder than ever!

We want our families to be involved and stay informed. So, become a PTA Member, attend our General PTA meetings, check your child's backpack regularly, communicate with teachers, volunteer whenever possible and check our website for updates or changes. We are here for you, so you can be there for your children.
