What We Do
Your PTA is hard at work all year long helping to make Ridgecrest Elementary the great school that it is. However, our work doesn't end when school does, we're busy over the summer too! Every summer your PTA creates and publishes the school calendar each family receives during the first week of school and works with Mrs. Benkert to plan fantastic activities for the upcoming year. New spirit shirts are also designed and printed over the summer. Additionally, we planned and hosted the New Family Welcome Night which welcomed new families, provided them with additional information regarding our school community and shared some social time to help make their school transition a little easier.
During the first week of school many PTA Members are always on hand to help direct students before and after school. You don't have to look hard to find us, we are out and about on campus, getting involved and being advocates for children.
We are involved in so many aspects of not only our childrens' education but their learning environment as well. The following are some of the programs your PTA sponsors:

We have a lot on our plate and wouldn't have it any other way. In addition to the above programs, PTA coordinates fundraising efforts throughout the year. Monies raised through fundraising directly benefits all of our panthers. Some funds are used to support the above programs and/or functions and some is used to make purchases to benefit the entire school. Purchases include benches for the carline, outdoor tables and benches, school marquis, classroom enhancements, classroom libraries, outdoor classrooms or learning areas, technology and more.
We work hand in hand with the teachers, administrators and parents of Ridgecrest Elementary. We are here to make a difference in the life of a child!
