 ReflectionsPTA Reflections unleashes your artistic talents!
2009-2010 Theme: "Beauty is . . . "
Reflections is a National PTA Cultural Arts Program that encourages students to use their creative talents based on a specific theme. This year's theme is "Beauty is . . .". Students from Pre-Kindergarten through High School can join the program in one of the following categories:
Film/Video Production Dance Choreography
Literature
Musical Composition
Visual Arts or
Photography
Ridgecrest Students create masterpieces that truly reflect the theme provided by National PTA. Students' entries are judged by community judges. At the end of the program all students are recognized for participating with a Reflections Reception held at school on December 3, 2009. The Reception will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at 6:00pm. All of the amazing Reflections entries will be on display for everyone to enjoy and delicious refreshments will be served. Information will be sent home detailing the program. Review the information and discuss it with your children. Do your children express their creativity through dance, music, story or poetry? Do they dream of having their drawings displayed in a special exhibit? Do they enjoy taking photographs or videotaping their friends? If so they need to participate in this years Reflections Program, "Beauty is . . .". Let's celebrate talent with Reflections! The deadline for submitting a Reflections masterpiece is November 30, 2009.
