HospitalityHospitality is all about Teacher Appreciation!
One of the main goals of our Hospitality Committee is to make our teachers feel appreciated. We try very hard to let them know what a great job they do with our children. In addition to the Back-to-School Breakfast, we host a luncheon the week after Teacher Appreciation Week which is May 5, 2008 through May 9, 2008. We also provide treats, with the help of our parents, in the Teacher's Lounge on Wednesdays of each week. Our teachers really look forward to Wednesdays! Some teachers skip breakfast this morning knowing they can grab something delicious at school. Others skip packing a lunch in anticipation of the days goodies. We love providing this special day to our teachers, however to do it each week we need the help of our terrific parents. Each classroom provides these treats once, sometimes twice during the school year. We ask each classroom to designate a Hospitality Representative who would be willing to coordinate their class's treat day. It doesn't have to be elaborate but the more parents involved the better. The Hospitality Representative's job is to contact parents in the class and ask them to bring a food item to the Teacher's Lounge on the Wednesday morning your class is assigned. It's that simple! Click here to view the snack schedule to see what date your child's class is assigned to bring snacks. If you are willing to take on the challenge of letter our teachers know how much they are appreciated, let your child's teacher know or contact Michelle Mason, Hospitality Chair, at mimason@earthlink.net. HELP US SHOW OUR TEACHERS HOW MUCH THEY ARE APPRECIATED!
