Organizational Notebooks
Our classroom theme for
the upcoming year will be- Leaping Into Learning. Our organizational notebooks
will be called F.R.O.G. books, which is an acronym for Fantastic Responsible
Organized Girls/Guys. That's exactly the purpose for these wonderful
organizational tools, to help the children become responsible and organized
with all their learning. These notebooks will hold everything needed to keep
our families updated on classroom and school events! I will update what will
be in each child's bnder over the next few weeks. The following is what was
will be in our binders:
Zippered
Pencil Pouch -This
will be for transferring money back and forth from home to school. Money
should always be placed in an envelop labeled with your child's name on it and
the purpose of the money (lunch, field trips, book orders, etc) . I'm also
going to add a pencil pouch in the reading section. This will hold word cards.
Clear
Plastic Page Protector-
This first will hold an our daily schedule and basic classroom information and
expectations.
First
Manila Pocket - This
is a 2-sided pocket. One side will contain any homework that needs to be
comleted at home. The other side will hold graded work that should be checked
and emptied nightly.
Calendar
and Planner- Your
child will use the planner to record daily activities and behavior. You will
also use this section for communication.
