Goals for the weeks of Dec. 11 and Dec. 18, 2009:
1) Monday we will finish up our sketchbook page on our reduction printmaking
critique.
2) Tuesday I will be providing you with a short presentation on Intaglio
printmaking and a short demonstration.
3) You will need to create or find an image to use for your intaglio. The
emphasis should be placed on line (unlike reduction printmaking).
4) You will have short demos throughout the week on how to print in the
'intaglio' tradition.
5) You will have two weeks to finish your series - number, title and sign 3
final copies for grading on Dec. 18th.
Sketchbooks (IWB): Due, Thursday, January 14th, 2010. (2nd Quarter)
1) 1 integrated page on printmaking comparison (formal comparison = IA)
2) 20 page investigative module.
3) 1 integrated page on printmaking critique/assessment. (IA)
4) 5 independent pages
5) 1 page on IB Studio criteria/assessment.
6) 2 more integrated pages that 'Dacey' directs for IA.
