Welcome everyone!
I'm so excited to be here at St.Stephen Catholic School. As a parent of a
student at St. Stephen's, I've always felt that the school is a positive
role model both academically and spirirtually. Now as a teacher, I
witness first-hand the enormous and awesome time, effort and talent the
faculty, staff and administration put into the school and students. They are
living their vocation each day. Thank you to all the parents and staff for
your words of encouragement and support. I feel truly welcome and blessed.
Now for a little about my credentials. I have a Bachelor of Science in
English education from the University of South Florida and a Master's of
Education in Curriculum and Instruction for Interdisciplinary Studies from
National-Louis University. I interned for 1 year at Adams Middle School in
Tampa, and taught for 6 years at Tampa Catholic High School. I have been
fortunate to be a work-at-home mom to my 2 little ones for the last few
years.
This year I hope to continue the awesome writing curriculum in the Language
Arts classes as well as add some more literature including Shakespearean
plays for all 3 grade levels. We may even tackle some Latin to help boost
those vocabulary reservoirs. I look forward to getting to know the students
and parents as we begin this new and exciting year. Remember life is an epic
