| We will begin reading "War of the Wall". During the reading of this story
students will discuss the conflict within the story and will also review the
cause/effect relationship we've studied earlier this year. The story begins
on page 110. This is a relatively short story so I'm hoping to have a test
on it this coming Thursday. If we don't make it through the story in time
the test will be on Monday.
In honor of Mr. Peters father, we are taking donations to the American Heart
Association. Students were told about this and asked to donate if they
chose. It is not mandatory. This Friday during teacher planning day Mrs.
Oerton and I will deliver the contribution to the American Heart
Association. If your child can donate even a little it would be great, if
not I understand about the economic times right now. This is just a heads
up for you.
Finally, we will be going to the book fair next Tuesday, Oct. 21. If your
child would like to purchase any books please send money with them on that
day.
