Students will continue learning section 2 and
-list the earth’s 3 layers and explain their interaction.
-Be able to recall what forces inside the earth shape the earth’s surface

-Answer the question: How do some scientists believe that continents move?
-Predict how a continent might split in two
-and explain how erosion differs from weathering
HW:textbook - written answers #1-3 (all)due tomorrow. Study for section 2
quiz tomorrow.
FRIDAY 10/10:
Begin section 3: Students will be familiar with the difference between
weather and climate and why climates vary
HW: sections 3-4 key terms definition and word find sheet - due Monday.

*Students were working on worksheets about cardinal directions. They can
finish at home tonight or tomorrow night.
*students who did not turn in the 5 themes poster need to get that done and
turned in by Friday or Monday.
THURSDAY 9/25:
*Substitute today - students will continue on a packet. The next 2 pages
have to do with map keys and symbols, directions and scale.
*HOMEWORK: They had most of class today to work on the packet, if they are
not done they need to finish them at home tonight. All 4 worksheets (front
and back) are due for class tomorrow and will be graded.
