About The Teacher
My name is Suzanne Wright, and this is my 11th year of teaching. I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, home of the Tennessee Volunteers! I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also a certified Level I Responsive Classroom Consulting Teacher, so I am deeply involved in the implementation of the Responsive Classroom Approach here at Sarasota Suncoast Academy. Training new staff and helping returning staff continue on the RC journey is both challenging and rewarding! I am married and have two wonderful children under the age of 6. My son will start Kindergarten here at Suncoast this fall. I love to scrapbook, play with my kids, cook and eat great meals, and go to the beach.
