I graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL
in 1993 with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. I have lived in
Miramar, FL. for the past 9 years. This is my sixth year at Silver Palms
Elementary.
I have been married to my husband, Ken, for 16 years. We have 2
sons. Michael is in the sixth grade, and David is in the
eighth grade. We have a beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named
Tristan.
My hobbies include Taekwondo, ballroom dancing, playing the
clarinet, drawing, and painting. I also love learning about and taking
care of animals, especially dogs.
The mission for the class is to provide the best educational experience for
each child through a variety of opportunities. Each child possesses his or
her own strengths and abilities. I encourage the students to utilize and
share their strengths and abilities with each other, making each child a
valuable part of our classroom community.
