About The Teacher
Ms.Figueroa is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She has achieved National Board Certification in the area of Early Childhood Generalist. She is ESOL endorsed, a teacher of the Gifted and trained as a Clinical Educator. Ms. Figueroa is in her 12th year at Silver Palms Elementary. This is her 12 year in First Grade. "I am so proud to be teaching the wonderful minds of our youth here at Silver Palms Elementary. GO FIGUEROA FRIENDS!!!"

My mission for this year is to further develop the reading, writing, thinking and math skills to his/her fullest potential. I will provide a positive and safe learning environment where students love to be. Together, we will work as a team to promote intellectual growth and social development. I plan to establish an overall love for school and learning!
