Dear Parents,
My daughter is graduating from Florida State University in Tallahassee and I
don't get to see her very often. I will not be in school December 10th
thru December 15th. I will have a wonderful substitute in my place for the
four days that I will be out. She has been a substitute at our school on
many occasions and has an excellent reputation.

Homework For The Week
Monday, December 14, 2009
We will not have our usual reading and spelling homework for this week.
Decoding is the first step in the reading process. If your child is reading
fluently without sounding out the words then your child will better understand
what he/she is reading. Reading comprehension is the final outcome. As with
everything else in life, the more you practice the better you will become. I
will be testing the students on word recognition, reading fluency and
comprehension . Complete the reading worksheets.
Due Friday
