Hello, my name is Tanji Ford. I am married to James a civil engineer and have
1 daughter who will be a sophomore basketball player in college in Alabama.
Yes, I am an empty-nester. I have 2 mini-schnauzers; Meg is 13 yrs old, Miley
is 3 years old.
I have been teaching in Broward County for over 20 years. This is my
12th year at Silver Ridge where I've taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I have a
Masters Degree in Elementary Education and I'm proud to be National Board
Certified.
I love walking my dogs, relaxing at the beach, pedicures, Vera Bradley and
Brighton stuff,shopping, reading, college sports, Heat basketball and Dolphin
Football. The most important thing you need to know about me is I am a Gator
fan and Alumni. Go Gators!
My mission is to create a classroom where all students can achieve to their
highest potential. I will work to meet the needs of all students in a fun, safe
and caring environment. The students will experience success and grow
socially, emotionally and academically this school year.
