Second Grade Gallery

Second graders paint their clay carvings.

Quarter One 2012

The children designed their own city in these cityscape paintings. They practiced putting on the paint in thin transparent washes so the elements of their picture are readily understood.

From this point down the pictures are from the 2011-2012 year.

Asian Style Art Unit

Children viewed images of decorative arts, textile arts, and fans from Asia. They created paper fans and dragons.
