End of The Year Events!
Monday, May 28th-No School
((Early Release Days Tuesday-Thursday))
Tuesday, May 29th- Fifth Grade Ceremony
Wednesday, May 30th- Fifth Grade Dance/Celebration
Thursday, May 31st- Softball Game/Last Day of School
Friday, June 1st- No School!

End of the Year Field Trip
*9:15 am: Depart from Springwood (Transportation for this field trip will be provided by Big Bend Transit Company.)
*9:30 am: Arrive at AMC 20 Movie Theaters at the Tallahassee MallOur children will enjoy a 10:00 am movie and a treat.
*11:30 am: Depart from AMC 20 Movie Theaters
*12:00 pm: Arrive at Tallahassee Skate Inn (off Blountstown Hwy.)We have reserved the rink for 4 hours.
*4:00 pm: Arrive back at Springwood Elementary. Families will need to arrange pick-up for their child back on campus by 4:00 pm.
If you plan to have your child ride home with another parent you must inform the homeroom teacher, in writing, no later than 8:30 am, May 11th.
The total, estimated cost of this field trip is $33.
Payment for the field trip is due by April, 27th!
In the event that funds are collected in excess of the final total, the remaining funds will be applied towards the 5th Grade End-of-Year Events (i.e., Promotion Ceremony, Dance, and/or Softball Game). Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, or checks are strongly encouraged.
